2018 hurricane season to be worse than 2017

Track your vessels and the storm systems in their area via a single, multi-function interface.

Research indicates the upcoming 2018 hurricane season in the Caribbean will be as bad or worse than that in 2017, which had two category 5 storms; Irma and Maria. Meteorologists at the Colorado State University predict seven hurricanes plus 14 named storms between 3 June and 30 September 2018, with three in the category 3 to 5 range.

For ship owners and operator with assets in the region during that period, tracking both their vessels and the storms that may threaten them is a vital part of ensuring their safety through prompt pre-emptive action. BOD has all the tools required for this task, accessible from any browser-equipped device. The interface will even identify the nearest search and rescue centre.

Relevant BOD features include; analysis of vessel tracks, monitoring of vessel speeds, review of change of navigation status and of course our multi-function weather monitoring and forecasting package.
